"Dr Tree" played a reunion gig 6pm at The
Kings Arms, Auckland City. They also performed with Golden Horse, Bic
Runga, Greg Johnson and Brooke Fraser at Villa Maria Vineyard, Auckland on
March 11th 2008.

Martin Winch performed music from his some of his albums "Sahara", "Espresso Guitar"
and "Guitar Song" on April 19th
2006 at the NZ Guitar Association workshop. More details on their

Martin has recently played guitar tracks
for Yulia's second album, released April/May 2006 through SonyBMG NZ. He also played on two tracks for
Kog Transmission artist Chong Nee.

The Winch
Bros played to 12,000 people at the Mt Maunganui "Blues and
Brews" Festival January 13th 2005. The weather and crowd
atmosphere was excellent.

He played musical highlights from
"Espresso Guitar" and his latest "Guitar Song"
Martin played guitar on several
tracks for Yulia's album "Into the West", produced by Carl
Doy, which was released 13th September 2004 through Sony Music and went straight
to No.1, he also played on additional Christmas tracks.
It is mostly original tunes and was released July 14th,
2004, licensed through Sony Music.

The Winch Brothers 7 piece band
performed the music of Eric Clapton
from his blues roots through the days of Cream to the landmark pop hits of
the 70's.
The
band features Martin's Wellington based brother Rob Winch (lead vocals and guitar), Martin Winch (lead
guitar), Billy Kristian ("The Invaders) on bass guitar, Stuart Pearce
("Street Talk", "Coconut Rough"), on keyboards, drummer
Leighton Greening and two female backing vocalists.
2002 News
"Grass Highway" the latest Topp
Twins album received Country Album of the year 2002. Martin
featured on many tracks.
He
completed work on American cult folk rock artist
J D Blackfoots' most
recent recording project,
where he also co-produced. This CD is now on release in
America and feedback is indicating that it is the artists'
best work to date.

Musical equipment
Martin Winch used Ernie Ball guitar strings and Tech21 Noize Toyz, on several of his guitars. He
performed live with a Godin nylon string acoustic and Fender
Stratocaster guitars, also Ibanez GB10 for jazz and a Martin
D35 acoustic for steel-string work.
