Welcome to my homepage! Welcome to my homepage!My name is Dean Jones. I'm an NZKC obedience judge, a highly competitive and successful dog handler,
and an experienced obedience instructor. I'm very active on the local obedience scene, currently serving
on the committees and as a regular instructor for the Canterbury Canine Obedience Club and the Southern Golden
Retriever Club. I'm also on the committee of the South Island German Shepherd League.
When not involved with training or competing with my dogs, I enjoy dabbling in designing and maintaining websites
for my dog clubs and my friends.
I'm also a keen photographer. A selection of some of my dog related photos can be found on my

My two dogs are:
Solo, a 5 year old Golden Retriever, is my first Obedience Champion.
Rowan, now 5 months, is about to make his obedience competition debut.
I'm a keen German Shepherd breed supporter so the South Island German Shepherd League is a favourite of mine.
