GOING.........GOING...........GONE!
Welcome to my home made motion cockpit. Everything you see here is homemade, I have bought nothing from commercial suppliers, partly because this is a budget project but also and more importantly, I get a great deal more satisfaction from designing and building something from scratch than going out and buying it.
The sim
is a fully enclosed 2 DOF (Degrees of freedom) motion base modelled
on a Beechcraft Baron 58 light twin GA aircraft.
This project was started (physically) in March 2006 although it has been silently planned for years.
I intend to have it finished by March 2007 and my progress at this stage looks as if this will happen.
